At a population level, the rate of microbial cell growth and the amount of ribosome and translation machinery have been found to obey simple relationships. This called the Bacterial Growth Law. However, at a single cell level, the correlation disappears, and here we try to reconcile such disparity using stochastic models.

I will present my analytical work with Dr. Wei-Hsiang Lin (@Academia Sinica) and my simulation work with Professor Matt Scott to the Lab in the April of 2026.
